Bufo "Fly"

The Fly molds to your foot like wet leather with a wide but perceptive toe box and snug heal. The top of the shoe is a heavy duty elastic, surrounded by a sturdy yet soft rubber. The stitching is high quality and beefy. I found the rubber to to be as "sticky as fly paper on a hot August day." Testing these shoes both on plastic and at the local boulders it became obvious that these shoes are aimed towards the performance boulderer or plastic surface palace climber. These shoes performed as well, if not better than it pricier competitors at a fraction of the cost. The toe box is wider than average, but stuck surprisingly well into small pockets, yet was firm enough to edge well. The Fly provided great smearing capabilities to back it all up. The shoe is sensitive but has good support and comfort for it's intended use. The rubber may be sticky but wears like iron which is a great combo for us poorer climbers!
